Good morning, good afternoon and good evening.

COVID-19 is the test of our resilience. We know that a lot of people, both young and old, are

             frightened and anxious.

Community organizations like YMCA can play an important role in communicating accurate

information and keeping social bond strong even we are physically apart.

It‘s vitally important that we let young  people know that there is a lot they can do to protect

their health and that of their families and communities.

At an individual level, that means staying active, eating right, keeping up with their studies.

At the community level, it means maintaining good hygiene practices and following physical

             distancing rules.

Some of you may have set up community programs where young people can deliver groceries or

supplies in a safe manner to older people and others at risk.

We also need your help in combating misinformation. It’s vital that young people separate myth

from facts and follow the advice of their local and national health agencies, their doctors and WHO.

Thank you all for your commitment and support. We are all in this together and we will get through

             it together.

             I thank you.
